The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a three-hour multiple-choice test created and administered by the College Board. It covers reading, writing, and math, and is used to determine students’ preparedness for college. The SAT is held seven times a year, typically on the first Saturday of the month.
SAT registration deadlines fall approximately five weeks before each test date. Register online on the College Board website
